Letting Go

I have discovered that one of the hardest things to do is....letting go of your children.  As much as I know it's  a good thing and he's with a good person and he's ready.....it's still incredibly hard.  Teddy moved this weekend and came by tonight to pick up a few things....of course I loaded him down with a bag of avocado, a bag of roasted pumpkin seeds and bags of oatmeal....then I stood in his room with him and started to cry.....he was so good and gave me the nicest hug....he's my baby....please tell me it gets easier....although I don't see how that's possible.

Just over 22 years ago.....and my heart only got bigger!
